The protagonist of A Hole New World is the Potions Master and he is the only one who is able to fight the monsters alone. It all started when creatures from the Inverted World attacked the city, they robbed settlements, killed civilians and captured more and more territories. Legendary warriors and large armies are unable to resist such monsters and lose battles every day.
The central character uses a variety of potions to help in battles. Basically, he fights with potions and defends himself. Potions give him the ability to freeze, slow, stun enemies, or inflict devastating damage on them. In the course of the passage, the Master acquires new items and upgrades his abilities. The process is made in the style of old arcade games with hardcore difficulty.
Fairy Fey travels with the protagonist, a friend also helps during battles and is able to deal good damage to opponents. The player will constantly fight with enemies and bosses, solve puzzles and overcome traps, moving through a two-dimensional world. The gameplay includes a story mode that includes 5 original dimensions with their own enemies and difficulties. There is "Story +", "Tests" and "Boss Rush". About 30 unique enemies and 7 strong bosses are included. Carefully exploring the levels, the gamer will stumble upon secret characters.
