Little Busters! differs from other visual novels in the presence of mini-games. Here you can play baseball and even bypass other athletes in the ranking, wander through the dungeons with a first-person view, fight like in fighting games (but without direct participation). There are also random encounters with rivals. The participants in the fights have several parameters: luck, strength, reflexes, endurance, agility, concentration, determination. There are accessories that increase these characteristics, as well as weapons. Fighters are able to exchange all items among themselves. If desired, all these fun can be turned off.
The release contains the English Edition, which includes 3 additional story routes for the heroines. In this re-release, the developers have added HD support. Also, the creators have introduced the ability to switch between English and Japanese text. Little Busters! is a non-linear game.
The main gameplay, with the exception of mini-games, is based on reading text. Mostly long descriptions and dialogues. Periodically, the user is given a choice to determine the further development of the plot. The story has 7 lines. The main character's name is Riki Naoe. The guy at an early age became an orphan, because of which he fell into depression. A group of friends helped a Japanese student. The guys created a group "Little pranksters" and took the teenager to them. Their goal is to defend justice and fight evil. One day, they decided to start a baseball team and sent a rookie to find girls for her.
