PAYDAY: The Web Series, as the name suggests, is a live action web series on a small budget. The story shown in it takes place in the universe of multiplayer first-person shooters and cooperative stealth action games. In terms of plot, this is a prequel to the second part. The project at one time was part of an advertising campaign for a sequel to The Heist.
PAYDAY: The Web Series consists of 6 episodes (First World Bank, The Vault, Hector, The Elephant, Greta: The Assassin, Vlad and Gage). They were directed by Damien Lichtenstein. Each episode is 7-15 minutes long. All of them came out without an official Russian translation. But Russian-speaking fans have already solved this problem. The title turned out to be unfinished. It does not have a full and clear ending.
The mini-movie provides an opportunity to learn more about the lore and get to know the anti-heroes from the game, dedicated to the theme of robbing well-protected banks and vaults. However, at the same time, in some places he freely treats the original and shows many characters who are not mentioned in any way in the joker itself. Because of this, some events turned out to be not quite canonical. In terms of genre, this is a crime fighting game. It has action scenes, moments with beautiful girls, various conspiracies and ingenious plans.
