Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron is a vertical scrolling shooter. The camera in the game is positioned on top. Events take place in an alternative historical period. A year after the end of World War II, the Germans are gathering their remaining forces and sending a special air force to the United States. Their planes bomb major cities and cause serious damage to the state. A small team of pilots becomes to protect the country.
This game is a sequel and a port from mobile devices. There are 4 characters available in Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron: Mark Taylor, John King, Steve Devis, Melissa Monroe. Their characters are revealed as the story progresses. Each hero can be improved. Pilots have their own unique abilities and weaknesses. For example, Mark can become ill due to sudden maneuvers, and Steve sometimes falls asleep at the helm, which is why his aircraft flies on autopilot. In times like these, you have to protect your teammates. In this project, it is possible to play with four people from one computer.
When playing solo, the user controls all four aircraft, and in co-op, each participant is given control of a fighter. In single player mode, combat units that are on the sides, in case of death, quickly and for free respawn. But if an enemy projectile hits the central transport, then one life will be taken away (there are 5 of them per level in total). When they run out, the mission will fail. There are also additional tasks. For their passage, pumping points are given as a reward. During sorties, you need to accompany targets, destroy specific opponents, fight bosses, fly over the map without dying, drop boxes, and carry out evacuation. You can also open new types of aircraft and strengthen the weapons installed on them.
