Aggelos is a mixture of platformer and action with RPG elements. The project can also be attributed to metroidvania. The game has 2D pixel graphics. The visual and sound parts are stylized as 16-bit console hits of the nineties. The plot begins with the invasion of monsters in the Kingdom of Light. The local ruler instructs the young warrior to close the passage through which monsters from another dimension enter this world. The young man goes on a journey through the forest, catacombs, sea, castle, temple, caves and other fantasy locations. The guy traditionally needs to save the world. And to do this, you need to find magical artifacts.
On the way to his goal, the hero will fight monsters, communicate with NPCs, complete side quests, collect and buy loot, and unlock abilities that allow you to get into previously inaccessible areas. For killing opponents in Aggelos they give gold and experience. As the level increases, the character's attack and defense increase. It is not allowed to distribute characteristics manually. To increase health, you need to find special upgrades. Armor makes a young man more resilient. In addition, it changes its appearance.
Also in the title there is a system of languages. In certain villages, the guy will not be able to interact with the NPCs in any way until he finds a book and learns their speech with it. The game has an open world. So that users do not get lost, it has a court magician, which gives clues to progress through the story.
