Agony is a non-trivial project with elements of nudity. The setting of the game is based on the Christian representation of the Underworld. Terrible pictures are designed to inspire players with a sense of fear and disgust. Employees of the Polish company Madmind Studio worked on the project, which raised money for the game through crowdfunding. The announcement took place in May 2018.
The game takes place in Hell. The player is given the opportunity to feel like a restless spirit tormented by the fiends of hell. At one point, he realizes that now he is able to inhabit the bodies of not only other martyrs who languish in this terrifying place, but even various demons. Now, he has to get out of the lower world, by moving from one body to another.
The game is notable for its interesting visual style, not typical for any other game. Graphic embodiment is also sympathetic. However, critics were rather skeptical about this project. It's all because of the frankly unsuccessful and boring gameplay. The plot component is also not a strong point of "Agony". One way or another, the game had fans who were not afraid of the terrible scenes of violence, the unpleasant faces of assorted monsters and the abundance of blood.
