In Airfix Dogfighter, users are invited to take part in dogfights using plastic models of aircraft. These are toy analogues of those objects that took part in the battles of World War II. Moreover, before the start of the next battle, the user can choose a pilot for a particular unit. Immediately after this action, as well as choosing a callsign, you can proceed to the main part of the gameplay.
Due to the use of toy aircraft models in Airfix Dogfighter, the main location is the children's room, from where the flight begins. So, the runway, military equipment and adjacent buildings are also toy analogues, and when climbing, you can inadvertently crash into the ceiling, walls or a cabinet standing at the door. In the future, you can leave the room and fly around the house, exploring various fragments of the premises. Using the weapons of the aircraft (mainly a machine gun), you can damage third-party objects and even destroy some of them. So, for example, you can break a vase from which a bonus icon will fall out. As for enemy units, there are tanks, warships and even submarines. All of them will actively try to destroy the user, which, in turn, will have to dodge attacks, simultaneously shooting them from a height. In addition to the already mentioned bonus icons, you can also find stars, whose number directly affects the final score in the level. After the mission is completed, the system collects statistics, so in which case the gamer can return and try to surpass his achievement.
