AIRHEART - Tales of broken Wings is an action game that combines solutions from classic arcade shooters with rogue elements.
The game is made in the atmosphere of dieselpunk and offers realities reminiscent of a fantasy version of the 1920s. The user will take on the role of a girl named Amelia, known from Cloud Chasers. In the previous game, she and her father traveled a long way through the desert in search of a better life in the flying city of Granaria. In the end, she managed to get to him, although her parent paid for it with his life.
When the game starts, Amelia is already a young woman working in a small workshop repairing small planes. She also earns extra money by catching fish that live in the clouds in this universe. The game's plot focuses on the social inequality that exists in Granaria. Environmental issues are also an important aspect of history: initially, fish seem to be an almost inexhaustible natural wealth, but after a while, intensive fishing leads to the depletion of their numbers, which ultimately leads to an open armed conflict between different groups of fishermen.
The player will watch what is happening from a camera located above the heroine's plane. The cards have an open structure, their shape is randomly generated. Initially, you need to focus on the catch itself. By selling fish, the player receives funds that can be spent on improving the machine. This will allow travel to the higher parts of the clouds, to the richest fisheries.
