20XX is a 2D action-platformer with roguelike elements, created with respect to the classics. The player and a friend can go on an adventure, the purpose of which is to save humanity. The gameplay is reminiscent of arcade games of the past, with more modern graphics and new features.
The gameplay is endless action, with jerks, wall jumps and dynamic shootouts. At such moments, the true beauty of graphics is revealed. Each level is randomly generated, which has a positive effect on replayability. There are two characters available - Nina and Ace. The first prefers to shoot, the second is good at close combat. In a single game, the gamer is free to switch between the two characters, multiplayer is also available, local or via an Internet connection.
The gameplay also has RPG elements: in the process you can find chests that contain health and energy upgrades, armor modifications and new types of weapons. Three difficulty modes are offered, and therefore it will be equally interesting to play both the beginner of the genre and the seasoned professional.
