25 to Life is a third-person shooter that doesn't use the most advanced graphics, even at the time of release. The history of the single-player campaign shows the eternal confrontation between the police, who are on the side of law and order and the authorities, against bandits, gangsters and other criminal businessmen who want to plunge everything into chaos and get rich on crimes. The name of this game refers to the well-known law in the United States of America, which allows convicts to a prison term to leave after 25 years of being in the zone with exemplary behavior.
The story campaign will tell the story of a boy named Andre Francis, nicknamed "Freeze". The story begins with his desire to quit criminal activity and take a righteous, peaceful path and stake the rest of his life on his own family. But only these plans had to be postponed, because his wife and child were captured by the villains, and the protagonist cannot leave them in trouble. Along the way, the player will be asked to complete a couple of missions for other characters involved in the storyline, such as police detective Lester Williams and gangster Sean Calderon.
Over the course of 12 levels available for the gamer to study, Andre and the rest of the characters will visit many locations with a bunch of enemies and a lot of firefights: prisons, underground metro stations, gangster quarters, banks, and so on. The artificial intelligence has the ability to fire accurately, which makes it quite difficult to return fire without any cover.
