The protagonist of 2Dark is a man named Smith, who for many years struggles with a traumatic event that still weighs on his mind - during a family trip, his wife was brutally murdered and his two children were kidnapped. A lot of time has passed since then, but he still believes that his children are alive. To unravel the mystery, Smith explores a strange town called Darkwood, where mysterious disappearances of children also occur. He hopes that in this way it will be possible to find the right path.
It will be possible to observe what is happening from a bird's eye view. During the game, you need to go through dark rooms, trying to find kidnapped children, and then try to escape with them from a serial killer. However, this is not as easy as it might seem. Smith is much weaker in dealing with psychopaths, so he must crawl and use the darkness that hides him (and also need to be quiet, otherwise they will hear). The hero is not completely defenseless, because he has various tools at his disposal, including firearms, but, firstly, hand-to-hand combat is a bad idea, and secondly, there is little ammunition.
Limited stocks - it's not just about weapons. In addition, other items such as flashlight batteries or supplies are also important. The individual levels are linear, but there are several different ways to complete them. What is worth adding, as soon as you manage to save the children, you need to lead them to the exit. The problem is that they don't always want to obey. Sometimes you need something that can get them to work together, like sweets.
