Anomaly Korea is a real-time strategy game that is the inverse of the popular tower defense genre. In this project, the player will have to attack the fortified positions of the enemy, and not defend himself, as in many games in this direction. A single-player campaign, consisting of 12 levels filled with a variety of content, will require a good tactical skill from the gamer, because the enemy outnumbers the allied forces in terms of the number and power of the army, which forces them to win with the help of competent decisions.
Thanks to the camera located on top, the user gets a convenient overview of nearby areas, which helps to plan the path of attack. After the destruction of an enemy combat unit, the player is credited with the local currency - dollars. For them, new members of the squads and upgrades for existing warriors are purchased. In addition to the story campaign, the "Art of War" mode is available, which gives a greater level of resistance due to sophisticated artificial intelligence.
The setting of the project was Korea, which was attacked from space by an unknown race of aliens. Aliens have powerful technology that is ahead of the human by a couple of generations. They settled their camps on the island and continue their activities, slowly conquering more and more land under their control. The gamer needs to stop them with the help of mobilized allied forces of various types: infantry, artillery, armored vehicles, aircraft, and so on.
