Antihero is a turn-based strategy game set in 18th century Victorian England.
The game received many awards even before its release. Here we take to the streets of an English town as a thief who has his own small guild. Our task is to rob houses, pump over our buildings and ward units, thus furnishing the opponent. Despite the transience of game sessions, tasks even in the campaign make you sweat and brainstorm. With each mission, computer intelligence is getting smarter and faster. But the project fully reveals its potential in the network mode.
The games are played in a one-on-one format, and you have to constantly think about what your opponent can do. Complicating the process is the fact that all objects and characters outside our immediate field of vision are hidden by the fog of war. Therefore, the ability to change the opponent's mind and predict his next steps comes to the fore. Pumping your base consists in hiring new recruits, improving buildings and purchasing various useful equipment.
Separately, we mention a stylish visual. Due to the lack of budget, such projects can stand out with a unique style and colorful animation. It's all there. A bit lacking in variety of content and maps. There are too few arenas, they are quickly learned by heart and no longer cause such delight.
