In ARC Continuum, the gameplay is based on the manipulation of time. The protagonist can make instant dashes, slow down the course of events and rewind them back. This mechanic is used to solve simple puzzles. For example, a gamer will be required to slow down the rotation of a giant fan in order to run under its blades.

As you progress, Adrian will meet other versions of himself from alternative time streams, and also acquire allies. The local history has a rich lore.
