Pacific Storm is a unique crossover of genres such as real time strategy and military simulation. The project is based on historically important battles within the Pacific, covering the era of World War II. In the game Steel Monsters, the opportunity is given to take control of the American Air Force or side with Japan. The gameplay allows you to see events from two perspectives at once.
Events begin on December 7, 1941, when the American fleet located at Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese armed forces. It was this battle that marked the beginning of a protracted and bloody war for naval dominance. You have to extract resources, including money, iron ore, nickel, bauxite and oil. Develop your base, train troops and avenge your fleet. If you are playing as the Land of the Rising Sun, then it is your responsibility to prevent the US forces from having a chance to win or to prevent the possibility of striking back.
There is a global strategic map, and the battles themselves are represented by a tactical mode. The gameplay of Pacific Storm is based on completely different elements, allowing you to research technologies, improve units, deploy a base, etc., combining these mechanics with direct control of combat units during combat.
Many historically accurate figures and events are presented, focusing on sea and air battles. Get into bombers, fighters, battleships, aircraft carriers and other types of transport. Each of the warring factions has its own characteristics and types of vessels. All maps in the game are highly detailed and provide maximum interactivity.
