8-Bit Armies is a strategy game designed for single player and co-op. The visual style is made in voxel graphics, imitating the classic strategies of bygone days. The single player campaign consists of 25 unique levels and 12 co-op missions. Missions against artificial intelligence and various versus modes are available.
The gameplay is done in real time and is hardcore. Hours of storyline will offer various challenges and will challenge even the most experienced players. For those who find the story campaign not enough, they can test their strength on random maps, or fight other players.
Artificial intelligence has several degrees of complexity. It learns in the process and analyzes your actions. You can team up in co-op with a friend to fight against AI together. Multiplayer maps allow up to eight players to participate in battles at the same time.
Classic base building mechanics and resource management are available. Maps are interactive and allow you to destroy objects.
