9 Monkeys of Shaolin is a dynamic beat-em-up made according to all the canons of the old school. Take control of the Chinese fisherman Wei Chen and protect your village from pirates who have arrived in order to plunder the surrounding lands and kill all the inhabitants, including relatives and friends. The hero owns ancient martial arts, being a true Shaolin monk.
There is a long way to go, which runs through the entire medieval China. Using your trusty staff, fight enemies on your way. The gameplay provides you with three combat styles: fight on the ground, in the air, or use magical seals. Switch between styles to create a chain of powerful attacks and crush opponents with deadly combinations.
The plot of 9 Monkeys of Shaolin tells the amazing story of a fisherman who came to ancient knowledge and greatness. The campaign consists of 25 unique levels, represented by different landscapes and biomes. Each level is represented by a variety of enemies and obstacles. During the passage you will visit Chinese villages, pirate ships, Buddhist monasteries, Japanese mansions, ruins of ancient temples, etc.
Fight with 10 Chinese and Japanese polearms, each with their own unique abilities. A huge number of secrets and caches are hidden at the levels. You can go through the story alone, or join forces with a friend using a cooperative game.
