A very real strategic survival simulator - Banished - is built on the principle of a tactical city-building game, with elements of which you will have to cooperate for a very long time. There is no main plot in the game. We begin our journey by settling in the forest with several couples. We have a couple of houses, provisions and the working hands of the peasants. From all this, we must make a full-fledged city in order to provide life for a huge number of people. After the first field has been littered, the pumping of your people begins. By the way, in Banished the main resource is not gold or gems, but people. The more of them, the better. Although you can use them in the most terrible way, namely, to borrow nothing.
The game does a great job of showing seasonality, which is designed to provide atmospheric realism. In the summer we harvest, prepare firewood for the winter and autumn, plant this crop in the spring and use the prepared solid fuel a little; in winter and autumn, respectively, people work more in other areas, sometimes go to the forest for firewood, fish in extreme conditions, build houses. Give them lots of work. The main thing is that a person should not be idle, otherwise he will start drinking, walking and doing nothing. This is the most realistic survival simulator. It is important that the number of people in the settlement gradually increase, and this is where the first problems of the game come from. If you do not have time to build houses for adult children of families, then they will not be able to reproduce. Accordingly, the village will die due to an overabundance of old age, because the parents in the game will have to be monitored. The main problems for the settlement: bad nomads who, instead of settling, will take away part of the resources; fires, famine and aging. Everything else gives life in the village a positive imprint: the birth of children, the construction of a school in which students get a plus for their profession, performing it more efficiently.
