Batman: Arkham VR is a project included in the Arkham line of games. A feature of this part of the franchise, as noted in the title, is the gameplay in virtual reality glasses from all the major companies involved in their release, using the complete controllers that come with the helmet. Since the game was originally designed for this type of control, exploring content without VR technology is impossible due to a number of reasons.
The events of this part of the adventures of Batman - a superhero named Bruce Wayne, wearing a bat suit and with huge, multimillion-dollar resources and development at his disposal - take place between the second and third parts of the original trilogy from Rocksteady Games. The main task of the protagonist will be to find out the reasons for the disappearance of his two superhero assistants: Robin and Nightwing.
The gameplay takes place with the view from the eyes of Bruce, and his main task will be to study the area to solve puzzles. Their successful overcoming ensures the advancement of the intricate storyline, the finale of which will be a meeting with the Joker - Batman's main rival in almost all works.
Three gadgets of the protagonist will be used for passing:
- Throwing Batarang - allows you to press inaccessible buttons or levers, or shoot down something that is far from the protagonist.
- Grab gun - with the help of it, the superhero will be able to move quickly, changing the viewpoint of the location.
- Forensic scanner - it is necessary to verify the authenticity of the evidence and recreate the possible variants of the crimes that have occurred.
In addition to the main story campaign, the attention of the gamer will be presented with 30 tasks from the antagonist named Riddler. He loves difficult puzzles, which constantly tests Batman's ability to use his own head to solve.
