A Boy and His Blob is a side-scroller with lots of solo puzzles. A re-release of the classic game from the consoles of the 80s, made especially by the fans of the series, led by Sean Velasco, for the fans of this project.
The plot will tell about the cruel treatment of the Evil Emperor, who rules in the world of Blobolonia. One of the small blobs, a small soft ball, escapes to Earth in order to seek help to fight the Emperor's armies. On our planet, he stumbles upon a little nameless boy who volunteers to help in a difficult fight, and together they embark on a difficult, long and adventure-filled journey back to Blobomania to overthrow the totalitarian regime of an insidious antagonist.
The gameplay is based on the interaction of two friends for centuries. With the help of the blob, the main character will make his way through a huge number of obstacles. This is possible thanks to special beans. When fed to a balloon, it will take on one of 15 different shapes, chosen by the color of the bean. The correct application of the beans in the right places determines whether the boy will go further in the level. Also, the blob will have to engage in skirmishes with strong opponents with the support of a little boy.
There are three chests hidden across 40 levels divided into 4 worlds, unlocking new difficulty levels when you start a new game, this will add the ability to get collectibles like concept art and storyboards. There is only one boss fight - with the Evil Emperor.
