Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter set in World War I. The game is the 15th in a series of the same name. The plot is divided into five chapters and begins with a prologue. The story takes place in 1918 and is told by tanker Daniel Edwards, who drives the Black Bess tank. Before the war, he was an ordinary driver, but now he has to break through the German line.
The player will use guns from the First World War, including pistols, shotguns, semi-automatic shotguns, pump-action shotguns and mustard gas. The developers have significantly reworked the melee system. Among the vehicles will be available cars, motorcycles, tanks, armored vehicles, airplanes, airships and horses.
Battlefield 1 includes 6 modes:
- Capture - holding a position and earning points;
- Superiority - the same as the previous paragraph, but there is no military equipment;
- Operations - one team captures the points at the time, and the other defends them;
- Storm - the destruction of telegraphs;
- Team clash - standard deathmatch;
- War pigeons - you need to catch a bird and hold it for a certain time;
- to send word to headquarters.
The main classes of fighters are represented by Assault, Medic, Support and Scout. In addition, elite titles are available, including Sentinel, Flamethrower, Tank Hunter, Entrenched Raider and Infiltrator. Up to 64 fighters can participate in multiplayer at the same time. One of the features of the gameplay is that the losing side is provided with a support in the form of an airship, an armored train, a ship or a heavy tank.
