A real-time strategy game set in the same world as the first part of Battlezone: Combat Commander . The plot takes place in the 90s of the last century. 30 years have passed since the events of the first part, and now an army of aliens with their technologies has advanced against people, against which the Americans have united with their NSDC (national space defense forces) and the USSR with the KKA (space colonist army).
The Cold War is over, and past adversaries have united to overthrow a new enemy. The main advantage of the aliens is that they planned a raid on humanity, and for a long time people could not overcome the desire of nations for bio-metal, which will now have to be distributed among countries.
Events continue. Armand Braddock, commander of an elite NSDF squadron, was removed from command. He decides to build a base on Pluto with the resources he stole from the organization. There, he plans to cross-breed humans with bio-metal. Now humanity has two opponents. When the interbreeding itself takes place, people notice the "Black Planet" at the borders of the solar system.
The developers left the gameplay at the same level in terms of mechanics, but added a few simplifications. Now units are combined into groups and used for different tasks. Construction is faster, and vehicles in the game are pumped depending on the amount of resources.
All wars in the game take place around Lieutenant John Cook, who is the protagonist. It is he who will eliminate Armand Braddock, be able to cope with the aliens and find out what happened on the border of the solar system.
