Bear With Me: The Lost Robots is a prequel to BWM's episodic quest. The genre of the game has remained the same. It's still the same noir adventure game, only with a new story. If in the original trilogy a girl named Amber and Ted I. Bear were looking for her brother Flint, then in this part they are given to play for a relative (before he disappeared). The same bear will keep him company.
The gameplay in Bear With Me: The Lost Robots has not changed. This is a representative of point and click adventure. It is necessary to wander around the locations, collect evidence, interrogate witnesses, solve puzzles. Puzzles can be solved in any order. If some riddle causes difficulties, it is allowed to leave it for later. The indie project has black and white graphics with rare bright colors and a melancholy-detective atmosphere in the style of the post-war US period of the mid-20th century.
According to the plot, a depressed and carrot juice-loving plush detective investigates a case of kidnapping and destruction of robots in the city of Paper City, where toys and people live together. He is helped to find the criminal by a shy boy who is clearly hiding something. The main character of the past three games will also appear in the story. The short game takes about 3-4 hours to complete. Its structure is similar to the pilot episode of this little series.
