In the center of the BeeFense plot are bees who are trying to resist nasty bugs who want to take away honey from hard workers. The protagonist is a defense strategist who must develop a defense plan against pesky opponents whose arrogance, cunning and speed are constantly changing. You can also fight off small fry with a machine gun, for large enemies you will have to use sting throwers, and for nimble disguised cunning people you will need an observation room. Weapons can be improved, for example, to add stickiness or the ability to shoot fire. For tactics, the scope will be smaller, since the location is divided into sections, but you can place weapons on each of them, taking into account the features. Management is available in BeeFense: the player controls the bees, sending them to collect resources or giving them other work.
There are 4 types of resources
- Pollen. Acts as a currency, various items are purchased for it.
- Nectar. Food that keeps insects healthy.
- Water. Serves as a booster, strengthening the weapons of attack and defense for a while.
- Red flasks. They play the role of upgrade points.
It will also be necessary to breed new bees and monitor them during battles, moving them to a new field if the old one has run out of recharge and pollen. An immobilized character can be saved with the help of keys. They can be purchased using upgrade points.
Only the mouse is involved in the control, which can be difficult, and it can be difficult for beginners to get comfortable due to the large overload of events.
